Best Char Siew and Crispy Roasted Pork in Ang Mo Kio!
Calling all Char Siew and Roasted Pork lovers! We've discovered a HIDDEN GEM in Ang Mo Kio selling the most delicious Char Siew and Roasted Pork rice!
This stall is popular with the residents around the area - long queues can already be seen from their opening time at 11.30am!
Sin Cuisine specialises in 3 different types of meat - Char Siew, Roasted Pork and a special Charcoal Roasted Chicken!
We first tried their dual Char Siew and Roasted Pork Rice with an added lava egg.
The Char Siew had a melt-in-your-mouth texture - it was incredibly flavourful as well! Each portion of Char Siew would be drenched in their signature secret house sauce and you can choose to add more on at no additional cost!
The Pork Belly was equally amazing with a crispy exterior and good fat to meat ratio. You can hear a distinctive crunch as you bite into each piece!
We love their unique lava egg, not many hawkers sell them and they are more common at ramen places. It added a unique touch to their roasted meat dishes, plus, each egg only costs $1 and was super ooey gooey and delicious!
We are also huge fans of their Charcoal Roasted Chicken!
Some roast chicken can be dry but theirs was super plump, juicy and tender! The portion given was very generous as well. Not bad for $4!
All their meat options can be either paired with rice or noodles.
We tried their egg noodles and fell in love with the springy texture!
The noodles soaked up the sauces nicely without being soggy and tasted amazing when we mixed their secret sauce base together with the added mince meat chunks.
Ask for their chilli sauce! It added a nice kick to the entire dish without being overly spicy. So for those of you with a low spice tolerance, you'll be able to finish it without tearing.
Sin Cuisine also sells their meat in platters without noodles or rice. We felt it was affordable for such a huge plate of meat - 200g for just $10, a portion that is more than enough for 4!
Do visit Sin Cuisine, we promise you the trip down is worth it. You'll definitely be back for more of their delicious roasted meats!
